Herbi is a meal planning app published by Tempo Labs Ltd. This page
explains how to delete your Herbi account and what happens to your
data when you do.
Deleting from inside the app
If you still have Herbi installed:
Open Herbi and sign in.
Go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to Delete account and confirm.
Your account and data are deleted straight away. This cannot be undone.
Deleting if you no longer have the app
Email herbisupport@tempolabsltd.com from the email address you
registered with, and ask us to delete your Herbi account. We will
confirm once it is done, normally within 7 days and always within 30.
What is deleted
Everything that identifies you or belongs to you:
Your account and email address
Your profile and preferences: supermarket, budget, servings, cooking
days, dietary needs and dislikes
Every meal plan and shopping list you have generated
Your saved and bookmarked recipes, and any collections you created
Recipes you imported for your own use
Your likes and dislikes on recipes
What is kept, and why
Two things are kept, and neither stays linked to you:
Recipes you shared to the community pool.
If you imported a recipe
that was approved and added to the shared pool other Herbi users can
be shown, the recipe itself stays, but the link to your account is
permanently removed. It is no longer associated with you or your email
address and cannot be traced back to you.
Operational records.
We keep anonymous records of how much the service
was used, so we can monitor cost and reliability. The link to your
account is permanently removed from these when you delete.
Deleted data may remain for up to 30 days in encrypted backups, after
which it is permanently removed. It is not accessed or used during
that period.
Your subscription
Deleting your Herbi account does not cancel your subscription, because
billing is handled by the app store rather than by us. Cancel it
separately:
Google Play: Play Store, then your profile icon, then Payments and
subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Herbi, then Cancel
App Store: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then Herbi, then Cancel
